People Pleaser vs. God Pleaser

We are not trying to please men but God, who tests our hearts.

The title of this post is from the book, Daily Encouragement for Single Women. This verse is indeed very powerful for us people. Many of us buy and do things just to please people we don’t even like! We strive to make a certain impression on the world and people around us. However, we care so much about what they will say that we often forget who we really are! But, God has a better plan for us. Let us be our true selves, shine through His glory and mercy.

Let us let go of impression management that sometimes lead us to a more serious trouble. We only have to please God not the people around us.
